About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Webmaster to join our Digital Marketing team! If you are a creative and results-orientated individual, with proven experience developing and deploying digital solutions for best-in-class user experience, let’s talk!

Aptean’s Digital Marketing team is hiring for an experienced Webmaster who is responsible for developing, managing aptean.com and other Aptean owned digital properties. The person in this position will demonstrate strong responsible for building and maintaining modern and responsive client-side web interfaces. An eye for design for a best-in-class user experience is critical to success. In this role, you will be maintaining the brand and feel of the online experience, as well as implementing website optimizations and landing pages. You will also:
• Gather and analyze business, content, and design requirements for desired web site modifications and enhancements
• Have a strong grasp on functionality and how users interact with the interface, the content, and a range of digital platforms (web, email, social)
• Engage and support internal stakeholders to understand their content and personalization / optimization goals and propose potential solutions
• Monitor industry trends and new product offerings to stay up to speed and ahead of the competition
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the digital marketing team’s processes and strategies
• Cross-browser and multi-platform compatible website / microsite design implementation, enhancements, and maintenance. Ability to convert creative designs into interactive web and email formats
• Manage web content publishing and editorial process for the website and landing pages
• Manage and optimize Contentful (CMS) platform
• Development with Angular and React
• Develop creative user experiences for digital media using responsive libraries (Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation etc.), PHP, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Partner with SEO and SEM experts to optimize web experience for search campaigns and pages aligned with competitive analysis and keywords research
• Maintain ADA and other data compliance mandates for websites
• Partner with cross-functional teams to help develop email templates (Marketo), landing pages, and site experiences
• Experience with webchat and video functionality

About you
• 4-6 years of experience in a front-end web developer or webmaster capacity
• Expert use of headless CMS as Contentful and PHP-based website content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, etc.
• Strong experience in development with Angular and React
• Clear understanding of the digital experience technologies from both the marketer and consumer’s point of view, with awareness of developing digital trends and IT solutions
• Ability to develop design mock-ups into clean CSS, hand coded HTML / PHP pages.
• Experience with one or more JavaScript testing frameworks and libraries
• Deep understanding of UX/UI design concerns, including responsive design, and a solid sense of how to create an excellent interactive user experience.
• Practical experience with Google Analytics, Adobe, or other digital asset testing and targeting platforms
• Design and troubleshooting skills; strong attention to detail and organization
• Good problem resolution and communications skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask across several projects with competing deadlines
• Use of design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Team player
