A client with Kforce is seeking a WordPress Developer to join their team remotely. This is a 10-week contract, and the candidate will need to have their own equipment to use

Day to Day Duties:
This team is a support team, so they are supporting already built applications and websites. The WordPress Developer will be making changes and fixing things that might go wrong. They could be touching front end, maybe backend, or some WordPress needs. They’ will teach whatever they don’t have.

• 3-5 years of experience with WordPress Development (editing existing templates and understands the structure of WordPress)
• Able to create good, clean, reusable templates
• Comfortable with administrative side of WordPress

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• CSS, CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap
• JavaScript/jQuery
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Experience using & managing GitHub
• Good PHP knowledge

Nice to have:
• Has created custom themes/plug in on WordPress
• Comfortable with MySQL and MyAdmin
• SAS experience
• Familiar with custom post types, taxonomies (have they created them?)
• Not afraid of managing WordPress and playing with PhpMyAdmin (console used for MySQL)
• SASS experience
• PhotoShop experience
• Experience with Cadence
• PHP experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
